August 12
On Friday the 2nd of August Wallace decided to get the wood trailer ready so we could go after wood. He pulled on the trailer and I guess he hurt his heart. He was not well one Saturday and Sunday he was very tired. Monday morning we got up and got ready to go get wood. Kim did all the lifting. Wallace did the sawing. Monday might he had a bad night. Tuesday we loaded everything up and came home. Wallace and I went to the emergency where the doctor examined him and put him in what is called step-down from Intensive Care. The EKG compared to last years EKG showed that there had been a change in his heart for the worse. In two days he was back home and doing well. On Saturday Charles and his boys Tom & Lorin and Blair & David and Darwin and his boys James & Jedd and a friend of the boys all came and got wood for us. Evelyn & Philline, Johnny, Becky and Phillip stayed with me. They did not leave here until about 2:00 in the afternoon. They all were so tired and very exhausted. Before they all left Romney Ronda and the boys, Jeremy, Gordon and Mark came. They stayed overnight and then they went back to Utah, they took their things that they had left here. Everything went well. We were so proud of our children that were here because of the wonderful way that they responded to Romney.
