We talked to Blair & Philline last Sunday. They are keeping the baby home because they have to keep him away from people so he won't get infections. He is growing and doing fine. He weighs 5 lbs 14 oz. We have heard from Ronda. They are doing fine she says. She said Mark has growths in his nodes. They took a biopsy yesterday morning. We have not heard how it came out.
Blair just called and we are going to meet him in Idaho Falls to have supper. Wallace was gone so we will be late. It was a very wonderful evening. It was nice to be with our family. The baby is doing great. He looks so good.

All the family called me either on my birthday or Mother's Day. We had an evening out with Blair & Philline and children. The baby is doing fine. We ate out, it was fun. Yesterday Darwin, Charlene, Jared, Mary Ellen and Joshua were here. They had dinner with us. They said they were going to stay all night with us but they got through working on a hitch on their car so they went home.
Ronda called last night. They are doing fine. She has two weeks vacation and they are going to Canada. They have sold their home there. They plan to move to Canada when she graduates from LPN nursing in August. Today we went to Blackfoot. Blair and Philline's baby was blessed today. They named him Phillip John. We had dinner with Blair and Philline and family. LaVar, Brenda and family were there also. We had a very nice day.

Last Friday was our last day at the high school. The week has gone by fast. Each week goes by fast. I guess that is because I am on the down hill side of life. We got a letter from Ben Speelmon today. It was dated June 4, 1985. He is principal at the High School. He was so good to work for. He is such a special man. He is Bishop of Terreton Second Ward. This is what he wrote.
Dear Wallace & Pearl,
Just a note to thank you for all your help at the school this past year. Your special concerns for the job and your desire to make the buildings and grounds look good is commendable and appreciated. Your positive attitude helped the students and staff want to improve the overall appearance of the building too. You're great!!!!! Have a fun summer. Sincerely Ben Speelmon, Principal
I told Wallace that I wanted this letter framed. I think it is so special to be appreciated. A month from tomorrow is the Fullmer reunion. We will not have all the things done that we would like but so be it. I had to have a tooth capped today. It is just a month tomorrow that I had one done. Very expensive. I don't want to loose them but sure can't afford that every month.

Tonight at 9:30 pm Ben Wilding called and said DeWayne had called and said that Ida had passed away at 9pm. She had passed out at home and they rushed her to the hospital but she never regained consciousness. We called Uncle George. He said that it had happened so fast that he could not realize what had happened. We asked if we could come over and he said there was nothing we could do. We told him we would come over in the morning. I talked to LaVar. He had to go to St. Anthony and on the way back he stopped to see Uncle Alden & Aunt Julia. He said they were surprised to see him but was happy to see him. He said Julia had a good attitude but she could not gain any weight. I am so glad he stopped to see them.

Last Monday we went to Hawley Creek with Charles & Evelyn. Alberta Smuin was with Evelyn. It was the most beautiful two days. The weather was perfect. Darin was home from Alaska. He has to go back. He has a good job. Wallace caught a lot of fish. We ate a lot of fish. They were very good. Yesterday we went to Roberts. We bought some groceries and ate out. It was very nice. This morning is a very beautiful Sunday morning. Today is LaVar & Brenda's wedding anniversary. They were here last night for a few minutes. Vonell and Daren were with them. They brought their wedding invitation and it was beautiful.

Today I got up at 4 AM and oil painted with Brenda. It was cold this morning. It is now 10 AM and I have a fire in the furnace. It is raining outside and very miserable. Wallace went to see Blair to see if they could sell the truck. Charles & Evelyn are still at Hawley Creek. I'll bet it is miserable there. Sunday we went to see Alden and Julia. Her attitude is very good. She now weighs 86 lbs. She is so thin!
